Creature from the Black Lagoon

This was a project I did years ago for the toy company Art Asylum.  I think it was one of those ball toys that squirt water when squeezed.  I don't know if it ever came out.

Tiberius E. Festus

I had been wanting to make a Frankenstein monster-like piece for awhile.  I had some scrap parts laying around from other sculptures and figured it could be a fun little project.  With a little sculpting, sutchering, cat hair, weird gizmo's and a Teddy bear battery charger it was done.

It's an awkward piece.  He stands 14 3/4" tall with base and was completed 10 or so years ago.

AN EVENING WITH RAY HARRYHAUSEN

An evening with Ray Harryhausen at the Cleveland Cinemateque.  This happened in the early 90's.  It may have been around the time A Nightmare Before Christmas came out.  In person was Mr. Ray Harryhausen with some of his production artwork and stop motion figures.  I think there was a footage reel followed by a Q & A and signing.

ZANE

This is an older piece for a proposed story that unfortunately didn't go anywhere.  My friend Steve Diruggurio (really great artist) came up with a very cool story that revolves around an insane asylum.  This is the maquette I made for one of the two main characters.

The Puppets of Peter Poonkerstein

When I was a kid I loved puppets.  Sock puppets, hand puppets, Marienette's - they just fascinated and frightened me.

TOYFARE

This was kind of neat.  Years ago I did work for the company Art Asylum.  One such job was to make a chainsaw for one of the Eminem toys they were working  on.  The toy and chainsaw ended up making the cover of Toyfare magazine.

ABE

This is a piece I am currently working on.   It stands a bit over three feet tall.  Still too early to say anything more.

12:15 at the Stiletto Muffin

I made this years ago as a quicky.  It is an alien "gentlemens" club called the Stilleto Muffin.  Every day at 12:15 an Earthling appears to entertain the oogling crowd.  I have since started a much more elaborate sculpt partly based on the idea of this piece.

QUICK MONKEY

This is a monkey I sculpted recently.  It is made out of Super Sculpey and was done in one sitting on a rainy afternoon.
